A whimsical explanation could be that I am rescuing sheets of paper from their 2 dimensional lives. After all, even a simple sheet of paper deserves a chance to be something more- much more!
In truth an assignment in art school and an opportunity years later with a design client proved to be the inspiration for my career in this wonderful world of paper sculpture.
My first sculptures were used in corporate campaigns and in 1989, I released a series of wildlife reproduction prints. Successful art shows and satisfied clients brought more commissions and by the early

1990's I was creating sculptures with time to do little else. The purchase of 8 x 10 photography equipment and the move north of Toronto allowed me to concentrate on my young family, marketing and my technique.
I define success in my adventure in art as creating a piece which remains a focal point and which poses questions and prompts conversations by it's viewer.
I feel very fortunate for my successes and for the chance to share my work with you. Thank you for visiting my website and I hope that you will visit often.
